MIAMI (May 19, 2010) – Multivista, the best practice in construction photo documentation, is proud to announce that they will be documenting every aspect of the Miami-Dade County owned, Florida Marlins Ballpark construction process for the Hunt Construction Group /Moss & Associates Joint Venture.

Florida Marlins BallparkStakeholders of the estimated $515 million facility will use Multivista to provide
real-time photos to manage unforeseen conditions, quality of work, RFI’s and verify pay applications on the nearly 1,000,000 square foot stadium.

”The selection of Multivista for the Florida Marlins Project in Miami was an easy decision once we understood the level and ease of access of the Exact-Built® documentation during the construction process,’ said Kenneth L. Johnson, Executive Vice President of Hunt Construction group, who added that the owner would benefit from Multivista documentation throughout the life the facility.

Multivista’s proprietary Exact-Built® construction technology will ultimately help project stakeholders decrease maintenance costs of the facility by having a virtual ”x-ray’ of what’s within every wall, ceiling and floor of the facility, during and after construction.

Hunt/Moss JV also expects a significant reduction of their own man-hours for having Multivista on the job to take photographs of construction progress and index them to the architectural drawings.

”If a drawing is worth a thousand words then a picture is worth a thousand drawings especially photographic documentation of the entire build process,’ Johnson said of Multivista.

The stadium, which is expected to be open for the 2012 season, is being constructed on approximately 17 acres of the historic 42-acre Orange Bowl site in the Little Havana section of Miami. The ballpark will have a retractable roof, a natural grass playing field and 37,000 seats, including approximately 3,000 club seats and 60 private suites.
