During the early 2000’s, many builders had rushed to meet the demand for new construction which resulted in an increase of defects per unit compared to previous years. This is causing issues for contractors in the Housing vertical market.

Homeowners from many of those projects are now forcing litigation on homebuilders and product manufacturers because of latent defects such as cracked foundations, allegedly hazardous drywall, and various other construction flaws. Some apartment and condominium projects have even resorted to demolition in lieu of costly repairs for the faults.
